Terry Wedlock
Fitness Intern
Terry has worked in the beauty industry for over 20 years as a hair stylist. She is a wife and mother of 3 boys ages 22, 17, and 14. She loves being a hair stylist but as her children got older, she wanted a little something more for herself. As wives and mothers, women often take a back seat in their own lives at times. In 2011, she entered a weight loss challenge and even though she did not win the competition she lost over 40 pounds and a new awakening developed. Feeling healthy and fit gave her a new look on her life after 40, so she enrolled at Catonsville Community College to pursue a degree in applied exercise science. Making women look great with their hairstyles has always been her passion but now she also has developed a new passion to encourage women through fitness and living healthier life styles. Terry is now nearing the completion of her degree and she feels she has been blessed to do an internship here at Red Brook Health and Wellness Center. She looks forward to merging her book knowledge with hands on experience. While here, she hope’s to meet many new friends and learn a lot to continue to develop herself and others.
